When to bring your barong in
After every formal use. The accumulated perspiration, makeup transfer at the neckline, and any food and wine that hit at the reception oxidize over time and become almost impossible to fully remove if you wait months. Drop off within a week of the event for the best result. Standard turnaround is three to five days, so the barong is back in your closet before the next event.
Embroidery styles we handle for Makati clients
- Calado openwork — the formal Lumban-style barong popular for high-end Makati events.
- Sombrado shadow embroidery — visible through translucent jusi or piña.
- Burda machine embroidery — the everyday corporate barong style.
- Hand-embroidered designer pieces from Filip+Inna, Anthony Cruz Legarda, Onesimus, Tomas Mendoza.
Pricing
We gently water-wash barong by hand — never with dry-cleaning solvent, which weakens the delicate jusi and piña fibers. Short-sleeve barong: ₱255. Long-sleeve barong: ₱280. Embroidered, piña, calado, and heritage pieces: quoted per piece after inspection. Specialty designer pieces: priced per piece based on fabric and embellishment.
Drop off near your office
Legaspi Makati at Prince Plaza II is the natural choice for offices along Legazpi Street, Ayala Avenue, and Salcedo Village. One Ayala is more convenient for the Glorietta-Greenbelt side and the Ayala Triangle area. Either branch accepts barong intake with the same care and pricing.
