What we clean

White midsole restoration

Yellowed white midsoles are the single most-requested sneaker work. Oxidation from UV exposure, accumulated grime in the rubber pores, and pavement transfer all contribute. We restore white midsoles by hand — never with abrasive whitening chemicals that damage the rubber over time. Results are visible: a midsole that comes back several shades whiter without altering the sneaker's structural condition.

Our sneaker process

  • Intake inspection — document existing damage, fades, and condition.
  • Lace removal and separate cleaning.
  • Insole removal and separate treatment for odor and stain.
  • Upper cleaning by material — leather conditioned, mesh hand-brushed, knit gently scrubbed, suede brushed back to nap.
  • Midsole restoration — hand-cleaning, oxidation work, drying.
  • Outsole detail — picking dirt from the tread pattern, restoring the original color.
  • Reassembly with laces and insoles, final quality check.

Pricing by sneaker type

Pricing follows the upper material (December 2025 rates): ₱400 for standard sneakers, including pairs with some suede trim; ₱600 for full-suede pairs, which need nap restoration; and ₱700 for all-leather pairs, which need conditioning. Hype and designer pairs — Jordans, Yeezys, Dunks, collabs — are priced by their material and documented more carefully at intake. Ask at the counter about midsole-only or add-on work.

Turnaround

Standard sneaker cleaning is 3 to 5 days. The drying step is what governs turnaround — proper drying after cleaning prevents mold, preserves the upper material, and lets us inspect the midsole work clearly. Rush is not available for sneakers — the process needs the time to deliver the result.

Where to drop off

BGC sneaker culture means our Fifth Avenue BGC and Market Market branches handle the largest concentration of hype-pair drop-offs. Makati customers split between Legaspi and One Ayala. Greenhills and Robinsons Magnolia in San Juan and Quezon City handle the steady flow from the surrounding neighborhoods. Drop in during regular mall hours.

Can you restore yellowed white midsoles?

How long does sneaker cleaning take?

Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 days. The drying step governs the timeline — proper drying prevents mold and preserves the upper. Rush service is not available for sneakers.

Do you clean hype pairs (Jordans, Yeezys, Dunks)?

Yes. Hype pairs are priced higher because cleaning takes longer and we document condition more carefully at intake. We have decades of experience with leather, suede, mesh, knit, and canvas — the materials covering most hype sneakers.

What about set-in stains and scuffs?

Set-in stains often lighten significantly but may not disappear fully. Deep scuffs into the leather are surface damage, not dirt — they don't clean off but may look better after surrounding leather is conditioned. We'll be honest at intake about what to expect.

Can I clean my sneakers in a washing machine?

Generally no — machine washing damages the structure, warps the midsole adhesive, and can destroy the sock liner. The agitation tears mesh and knit uppers. Hand cleaning is the safe approach, which is what our process does end-to-end.
