What we clean

Why home washing usually fails

Three things commonly go wrong when bedding is washed at home. First, residential machines aren't large enough — the comforter doesn't fully submerge and water doesn't circulate evenly, leaving soap residue inside the fill. Second, the drying step is incomplete — the fill stays damp at the core long after the surface feels dry, leading to mildew and odor weeks later. Third, agitation in a top-loader can clump or break down the fill, especially on older down pieces.

Our bedding process

  • Pre-treatment of any visible stains — blood, food, pet, perspiration.
  • Commercial-capacity wash with full submersion and proper agitation for fill type.
  • Multi-stage drying to ensure the fill is dry through the core, not just the surface.
  • Inspection for clumping (down) or unevenness (synthetic fill) and re-distribution if needed.
  • Folded and bagged for pickup.

Pricing

Comforter and bedding cleaning is priced by weight at ₱275 per kilo (December 2025 rates). A typical queen comforter runs a few kilos, so most land in the ₱400–800 range depending on fill and size. Down and down-alternative duvets are the same per-kilo rate but take longer to dry. Pillows are priced individually — ₱150 to ₱500 depending on size and fill (throw, standard, queen, king, body). Decorative quilted bedspreads, embroidered pieces, and heritage Filipino bedspreads from grandmothers' linen cabinets are quoted per piece after inspection.

Pet hair, allergens, and dust mites

Bedding accumulates more than visible dirt. Dust mites, dander, accumulated body oils, and pet hair build up in the fill over time and contribute to allergy flare-ups, asthma triggers, and that subtle odor that home washing never quite removes. Commercial-capacity hot wash with proper extraction is the only reliable way to handle this. Plan on cleaning your primary bedding every 3 to 6 months; guest-room bedding less often.

Turnaround

Standard bedding turnaround is 3 to 5 days. Drying is the gating step — we won't release a comforter that isn't dry through the core, because damp fill turns musty within a week of being put back on the bed. Plan accordingly during the rainy season when humidity extends drying time slightly.
