What goes in a wash & fold load
Everyday wear is what this service was built for. Cotton T-shirts, polos, jeans, shorts, sleepwear, socks, underwear, kids' clothes, school uniforms, bath towels, kitchen towels, bedsheets, pillowcases, comforters that fit in a domestic dryer, and most casual fabrics. We sort dark colors away from whites, treat any obvious pre-treat spots, and run loads at the right wash setting for the fabric mix.
What doesn't belong in wash & fold: dry clean only labels, beaded or embellished gowns, structured suits and blazers, leather, suede, silk, and most barong tagalog. If you're unsure, our counter staff sort at intake — anything they flag for dry cleaning gets pulled aside and priced separately so you can choose.
How we wash
- Intake sort — colors separated from whites, heavily soiled separated from regular wear.
- Pre-treatment for visible stains (we point them out at intake so you know what to expect).
- Wash cycle calibrated by load weight and fabric mix — never overstuffed.
- Dry without over-tumbling — your cotton shirts come back the size they went in.
- Hand-folded, stacked by garment type, and bagged.
Pricing by kilo
Wash & fold is priced by weight, starting around ₱45 per kilo for standard household laundry. All branches have a 3-kilo minimum to make the load economical to run. Below the minimum, you'll be charged the 3-kilo minimum rate. Bulkier items like comforters, blankets, and curtains are priced per piece rather than per kilo because their dry-weight changes dramatically when wet.
Turnaround
Standard wash & fold turnaround is 2 to 3 days at most branches. Drop off Monday, pick up by Thursday — predictable and easy to plan around your week. Same-day service isn't available.
Detergent and care notes
Standard wash uses brand detergent and fabric softener appropriate for mixed-fabric household loads. If you have a skin allergy or a baby in the household and need hypoallergenic detergent only, let the counter know at intake — most branches keep a hypoallergenic option for sensitive customers.
Branches that handle bulk loads well
All 28 of our branches handle wash & fold, but the bigger SM and Robinsons-anchored locations — SM Megamall, SM City North, SM Fairview, Robinsons Galleria — are best for the high-volume household loads that run over 20 kilos. Smaller standalone branches like Legaspi Makati and White Plains handle the steady neighborhood rotation. Find the nearest one on our branches page.
